      This talented defender was Hoddle's first buy since being at the Dell. Tahar is a very versatile player being able to play in defense or in a central midfield role. Hoddle bought El-Khalej to tighten up the defense and has seemed to have done this now replacing Lundekvam in central defense. Tahar is a very experienced player with 70 Morocco caps to his name. Tahar scored in his first game for Saints at Spurs but unfortunately his day wasn't to end on a high because Saints lost 7-2 but he should help the team next season with his dangerous runs from central defense.
