Pahars in new contract deal

Pahars has just recently signed a new four year deal with Saints to keep him at the Dell until the end of the 2005 season. The deal is reportedly to be worth £2 Million in which Pahars will receive £10,000 a week.

Lowe has described this deal to be ambitious because it shows that Hoddle and the staff want to take the club to a higher level because it means that we want to build on the current squad available instead of selling them off to make a profit.

This deals also means that if someone becomes interested in buying Pahars they will also have to pay out the rest of his contract. It shows that they want him to stay by offering him a better deal than the one he got when he first arrived which was probably considerably less than what it is now.
